Photographer and cinematographer Andie Riekstina grew up surrounded by music and artists. Having always worked within the field of arts, it was moving to Berlin that gave them the push to pursue it full time.

They focus on dismantling social constructs and exploring ways to oppose binary gender roles.

Andie’s work aspires to show the character and uniqueness of the subject, their personality and feelings. For them photography and cinematography is a way of communication, co-working and dialogue, as well as escaping mundane reality and building a better, more inclusive and colourful world.
